State 工作研究: Employers

好处

State 工作研究 (SWS) provides the possibility for students to earn money for college costs. Research has found that students who work between 10 和 19 hours per week are more likely to graduate 和 get better grades. 也, students graduating with job-ready skills 和 competitive résumés are more likely to find a job after graduation.

作为雇主, you gain access to a well-educated 和 highly motivated pool of workers who help you operate more productively. The state will reimburse 40-70% of the student's wages if you participate in the program. Nearly 1,000 employers are currently involved in the SWS program. 你可以加入他们!

资格

Eligible employers include government agencies, for-profit corporations, 小型企业, 和 nonprofit organizations. (The state prevents any political or religious organizations from participating)

Interested employers should complete the Employer Contract 和 Business Profile 和 工作描述 in order to determine whether you are eligible for SWS funding. 在某些情况下, Washington Student Achievement Council may request that you fill out a “Religious Affiliation Questionnaire” to determine whether your organization is religiously affiliated.

To qualify for reimbursement, you must hire a college student who is eligible to participate in the SWS program 和 has received an SWS Statement of 资格 from SPU.
